Lenoir Police are investigating a fatal weekend wreck. 64 year old Claude Howard Jr passed away at Caldwell UNC HealthCare after he had crossed the median and collided with another vehicle on Hickory Blvd. The other driver was a 23 year old man, he was airlifted to CMC Main in Charlotte. Early investigation revealed impairment was not a factor.
Breaking and entering charges were brought against a Lenoir woman. 27 year old Kaytlin Michelle James was arrested by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. She faces felony breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods. Bond was set at $3,000 with a court date set for Monday.
