The Hickory Police are investigating a shooting death. 35 year old Shonniel Blackburn was found with a gunshot wound outside Blue Ridge Heights Apartments on 1st St SW. Catawba County EMS attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. A suspect is being sought. No further details were available.
