On Wednesday, 01/11/2023 a motorist alerted area deputies to the presence of a deceased person located in a wood line near the intersection of Plateau Rd and Tradewinds St. Deputies traveled to that location and discovered the body of a deceased female.
The decedent appears to be a middle aged Caucasian female with dark colored hair. There was not any identification present with the body. Deputies and investigators are working to learn the victim’s identity and to establish a cause of death. An autopsy will be performed.
