On Friday, February 3rd, Victor Eugene Leatherman of Conover was arrested after the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic’s Division uncovered and seized 48 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of fentanyl, a .22 caliber revolver, Schedule II and III pills, and $1,751.00. Leatherman was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Heroin, Possession of a Firearm by Felon, among other offenses. He was released after posting a $100,000.00 secured bond and had a first appearance in Catawba County District Court on 02/06/2023.
