An investigation is underway by Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives after a break-in and larceny at Denver Construction Company in North Carolina. Last Saturday, March 4, an individual cut through a chain link fence and entered the business. The perpetrator then proceeded to go through the work beds of company trucks and stole tools and equipment with an estimated value of $1,800. The suspect, who appears to be a white male with black or brown hair, a beard, and a mustache, left storage doors open on the trucks. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the break-in or the suspect’s identity to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the Lincoln County Communications Center, or Lincolnton/Lincoln County Crime Stoppers at 704-736-8909.
