Caldwell County’s Human Resources Director, Beth Brown, has recently earned the Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential, showcasing her expertise in strategic human resources duties. Having worked with Caldwell County for just over a year, Brown has also served as Deputy Human Resources Director and has previously worked as an assistant director for an agency providing services for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Brown’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in History from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master of Arts in History from Winthrop University. Brown’s SHRM-SCP certification puts her among over 126,000 human resources professionals worldwide who hold the SHRM Certified Professional credential.
