Join Morganton’s Downtown Development Association for the first ever, Halloween Huntacular on Saturday, October 31st. This spooky scavenger hunt requires teams put their brains together, zombies don’t get too excited, in order to solve clues that will lead them through 22 participating downtown businesses. Event appropriate for ages 18 and up unless otherwise accompanied by an adult.
Teams, of six or less, will need to register for the event by submitting a team application. Once successfully registered, it is crucial that your team have a killer name and your costumes be creative! Awards will be given to the teams with the best name, costumes, fasted hunt time and best photographs.
The Halloween Huntacular, 10am – 5pm, leads teams on a wild goose chase through the streets of downtown in search of the final clue pointing to the Huntreasure. The first clue will be sent via text message to the team captain when the hunt begins at 10:00am. Teams are to take photos of their group at each clue location and text those to the number that revealed the first clue. Photos will be posted on the event Facebook page to be enjoyed by those participating and for their family and friends to follow along with the search! Scavenger hunts make you hungry? NO zombies! Cranky Crab food truck will conveniently be parked downtown for you to grab a quick bite to eat during your hunt!
