DRIVE-THROUGH TURKEY TUESDAY

Join City Council Members Crissy Thomas and Rev. Ike Perkins for the 7th Annual Community Turkey Tuesday. Council Members Thomas and Perkins and volunteers hand out hundreds of free turkeys to local families in need. Thomas and Perkins ask that each person picking up only takes one turkey per family. “We operate on an honor system,” Thomas said.  This year, residents can stay in their vehicle and drive through the parking lot to pick up turkeys. The giveaway starts at 5:00 pm.
