To honor and thank Merlin and Judy Perry for their many years of hard work and dedication in developing bikeways, pathways, and trails in Lenoir and Caldwell County, the City of Lenoir named a section of the city’s greenway, “Perry Trail.”
Council unveiled the Perry Trail sign Tuesday night, March 20, 2018, to a very surprised Merlin and Judy Perry. The sign will be installed on the “Big Loop” section of the trail on Powell Road now named “Perry Trail.”
