A fatal wreck occurred in Gamewell Thursday. Jonathan Lloyd 36, was killed when the Volkswagon Golf he was driving hit a tree on Calico Rd. Speed was the main factor. Lloyd’s cousin Sadie Watson was airlifted to Carolina’s Medical Center with severe injuries. Gamewell Fire Dept responded just after noon on Thursday.
