Rex Alan Eversole of Morganton was charged with driving 150 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone on Tuesday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle going through a curve near barrier loop according to the Morganton News Herald. Eversole was also charged with driving while impaired and taken to the hospital by Burke County EMS with leg trauma. No one else was involved in the accident.
