Hickory Man Arrested With Drugs in Motor Vehicle

Marquis Lee Wilson of Hickory was taken into custody Saturday afternoon after being found with cocaine, $600 in cash, drug paraphernalia and a handgun in his vehicle according to the Hickory Daily Record. Hickory Police responded to hearing shots in the area of South Center Street and saw multiple suspects leave the area in two different vehicles. Wilson’s vehicle was stopped on 10th Avenue SE. Wilson was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a concealed weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and discharging a firearm in the city limits. He was issued a $10,000 bond.
