John Paul Hammer of Taylorsville was arrested after someone at an Alexander County residence accidentally called 911. According to the Hickory Daily Record when Alexander County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the call, a meth pipe along with almost 3 grams of methamphetamine individually packages, over 100 dosage units of alprazolam and marijuana were found inside the residence. Hammer was charged with multiple felonies and issued a secured bond.
