A former Catawba County Sheriff’s Office Captain and Sheriff candidate was indicted on multiple misdemeanor and felony charges after a months-long investigation by the State Bureau of Investigation. Jason Reid faces five charges including embezzlement, larceny, and cyberstalking. According to the Hickory Daily Record he was issued a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to make his first appearance in a Lincoln County court this morning.
