According to the Morganton News Herald Seven units at the I-40 Flea Market in Valdese were damaged in a fire Saturday Afternoon. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames after about 15 minutes according to Burke County Fire Inspector Chad Houston. The fire originated in a trash can but the cause could not be determined.
