Residents in Burke County are being asked to help keep storm drains clear ahead of Hurricane Florence. The News Herald reports Public Works officials in Valdese and Morganton say they are working to clear storm drains ahead of the storms. Residents are asked not to put yard debris at the curb ahead of the storm.
