A Nebo man is facing multiple charges after leading police on a high-speed chase last week. Nicholas Cage Cordell led Burke County Sheriff’s Office detectives on a 25 miles chase through Burke County and into McDowell County. Once in McDowell County Cordell tried to run from police but detective were able to take him into custody. The News Herald reports Methamphetamine and other narcotics were found on Cordell’s person after the chase.
