A man believed to be linked to 12 break-ins over the last four months is in custody. Mark Francis Hodsden of Morganton was identified with help from the community and social media after surveillance footage caught a break-in at Friday Friends restaurant on Sept. 26. Hodsden has a long criminal history and the News Herald reports police are looking into 16 similar break-ins for a connection.
