A Morganton man was charged with stalking and trespassing yesterday. Eric Whisenant was charged after an officer responded to a harassment call from a woman who reported he had brought her gifts and was beating on her door after being told to stop coming by. Whisenant had already been charged with trafficking methamphetamine last week.
