A Texas Man was struck by a car and killed while walking across Wilkesboro Boulevard Saturday night. The News-Topic reports Thomas Stevenson was in the left of the eastbound lanes when he was hit by Jason Hamby of Lenoir. Hamby stopped and waited on police and has not been charged as of Monday, but police are still investigating.
