Claremont Elementary opened its new $2.3 million cafeteria Thursday serving students a Thanksgiving themed meal. The new cafeteria features high ceiling, windows on 3 out of four walls, and a kitchen with new equipment like a walk in freezer. A ribbon cutting was for the community and parents. The Daily Record reports the school plans to convert the old cafeteria in classrooms.
