A Former Hickory Police Officer who was convicted of unreasonable use of force in Federal Court is now facing a civil suit. Robert George threw Chelsea Doolittle to the ground from the back of a police car at the entrance to the Police Department. The Daily Record reports Doolittle is asking for a jury to award damages as well as more than $25,000 in punitive damages.
