A fire reduced a Lenoir man’s home to rubble Sunday morning. A passerby noticed the fire on Holden Place in Sawmills around 7 a.m. The News Topic reports Oscar Hoilman, the homeowner was staying with a friend at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire has been reported as faulty wiring.
