Lenoir Police search house near Whitnel Elementary

Lenoir police searched a house near Whitnel Elementary School yesterday following a month-long investigation. The Lenoir Police arrested Kenneth Taylor and Patricia Bare and seized over 100 grams of methamphetamine along with a pistol, six long-barreled firearms and over $1,100 in cash. The News Topic reports there is no knowledge of any drug sales occurring on school property or to children at the school.
