Sewer rates are set to increase in Gamewell by almost 5 percent starting July 1, according to the News-Topic. Gamewell contracts with Lenoir for sewer services, and Lenoir’s processing fees increase at the beginning of the new fiscal year in July. Gamewell Town Council members voted to approve a rate increase of 25 cents per 1,000 gallons.
