A man was found dead in a bedroom in his home off Sigmon Dairy Road in Newton. The man’s coworker requested someone check on him after The Hickory Daily Record reports he did not show up to work on Tuesday or Wednesday. The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death as a homicide and is looking for Justin Dalton as a person of interest.
