Twi Catawba County Lowes Foods to close

Two Catawba County Lowes Foods stores will close next month. The Hickory store located at 1405 29th Avenue NE and the Claremont store at 3035 Centennial Blvd will close in early August. The Hickory Daily Record reports the current employees at these stores will have the opportunity to work at other Lowes Foods stores in the area.
