The identity of a man shot and killed in Alexander County Tuesday has been released. Walter Minton was found shot to death outside a home in the Stony Point Community. The suspect, Joshua Lee Branch was still at the scene on Spring Point Drive when deputies arrived and was arrested and charged with murder.
