A Granite Falls woman is facing animal cruelty charges follow an investigation by Caldwell County Animal Control. Assisted by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies, animal control seized 33 dogs and 1 kitten at the home on Petra Mill Road, Granite Falls. Amanda K. Gouge is charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty.
All of the animals have been checked by veterinarians and four of the animals remain in veterinary care.
