A Granite Falls man died and his son suffered serious burns when their home caught fire Thursday afternoon. David Dewey Sr. was killed in the blaze off of Woods Dr. David Dewey Jr. was airlifted from the scene. A woman who was also in the home was able to escape uninjured. State and local fire officials are investigating to determine how the fire started.
