Human remains discovered in a wooded area of Caldwell County may be those of a man missing since late last year. 61 year old Danny James Garvin was reported missing on January 24th, but had not contacted family since August according to reports. Over this past weekend police discovered remains in an area off Boone Fork Road. north of Lenoir. The medical examiners office will have to make a positive identification and determine cause of death.
