Student charged with making school threats

A student at Hickory high school has been charged after posting threats on social media.  Authorities say 18 year old Jaleya Rashea Allen posted threats on Snapchat against students and faculty at Hickory High School as well as West Caldwell High School.  A student from another school discovered the threats online and notified police. Allen is charged with two counts of communicating threats of mass violence on educational property.
