A Morganton man has been charged with felony child abuse after a child was found to have serious injuries. 32 year old David Allen Proctor was charged after the child was taken to a local hospital and later had to be transferred to Levine’s Children’s Hospital in Charlotte. Police say the child had injuries consistent with being shaken.
