The transition into Phase One of re-opening NC begins at 5pm Friday. It does not lift the Stay at Home Order but does increase the number reasons citizens are allowed to leave. Personal Care businesses will remain closed, as will entertainment facilities and fitness facilities. Restaurants will continue to be allowed to serve theough take out or drive thru. Mass gatherings are still limited to no more than 10 people and social distancing is still greatly encouraged and recommended. It is also recommended people wear some sort of mask or face covering when going to a public place such as a grocery store or retail establishment.
