NC Enters Phase II Reopening

NC Governor Roy Cooper announced Wednesday that Phase Two of reopening the State will begin on Friday at 5pm.  While the stay at home order will be lifted, health officials say people will still be safer if they stay home especially people in higher risk groups.   restaurants will be able to open for dine in with reduced capacity and safety measure, Salons and barber shops will be able to operate under those same guidelines,  Gatherings will be limited to 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors,  Gyms, movie theaters, and bars and nightclubs will remain closed.  People are still urged to follow the three W’s:

  • Wear a cloth face covering if you will be with other people
  • Wait 6 feet apart. Avoid close contact.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer.

These actions can protect our families and neighbors as the state takes a cautious step forward to ease restrictions while the virus is still circulating.
