A local teen was killed in an accident on Friday. 16-year-old Shane Cassavaugh was a sophomore at Hibriten High School and very active in the sport of motocross. Online, many motocross facilities across the area posted tributes to the young man. According to a post on Caldwell County Schools Facebook page, a memorial procession will be held today from 6 until 9 pm starting at Oxford memorial Baptist Church in Taylorsville.
