Hickory police have made a second arrest in connection to a shooting death that happened on July 29th. 30 year old Donald Simpson died after being shot in the area of 1st Street SW. Hickory Police have charged 25 year old Craig Anthony Ruff with discharging a weapon into an occupied property causing serious bodily injury and possession of a firearm by a felon. Another suspect, 33 year old Tantae Deon Little was arrested last week and is facing numerous charges including Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. The investigation is continuing and anyone who may have information is asked to contact Hickory Police Department.
