Two people were sentenced to prison time on Monday in Catawba County Superior Court for their roles in the 2016 murder of a C laremont couple. 27 year old Reand Pablo-Antonio Rivera and 30 year old Devin Maurice Ussery both pleaded guilty pleas. Rivera pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree burglary and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Ussery pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact to first degree murder, first degree burglary and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Both had been charged in connection to the March 12, 2016, murders of 34-year-old Mark Anthony Wilson and 39-year-old Deidra LaCarol Ramseur at the couple’s home on Rest Home Road in Claremont.
