Two people face numerous drug charges following a traffic stop in Catawba County last Friday. Authorities with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Group said they seized 7.5 ounces of heroin and 6.5 pounds of marijuana during the stop.
34 year old Jessica Amber Ruch of Newton faces several charges including trafficking heroin. Floyd Gibbs III is charged with conspiracy to traffic heroin. Police say the investigation is on-going and they expect more arrests.
