A Morganton man is facing murder charges. George Lee Allison III 63, was arrested Monday by the Burke County Sheriff’s Deputies in the shooting death of Brandon Charles Adams 49. Allison is in the Burke County Jail being held under no bond. The investigation is continuing. The shooting took place on Skyland Drive late Sunday.
