A fatal Hickory shooting is under investigation. Police and Catawba EMS responded to a call on 17th St NW late Wednesday and found India Kynar Rice 27, with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said an unknown person or persons fired multiple shots into the residence from a passing vehicle. Hickory Police are continuing to investigate.
