Counterfeit charges were brought against Hickory man. Tristan Raysean Payne 21, was arrested by Maiden Police. He faces felony possession of counterfeit instruments, and resisting an officer among other charges. Payne was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under an $11,000 bond. Court dates are set for July 27th and August 2nd.
