Hospitalizations for Coronavirus in Catawba County fell by nearly 50% from Wednesday to Thursday from 98 down to 51.  There are currently 29 in the hospital in Caldwell County and 8 hospitalizations in Burke County.

A Burke County man is facing drug charges.  Zachary Gene Roberts 25, was arrested by the Burke County Sheriffs Department and charged with felony possession of schedule 2 drugs.  He is in jail in Morganton under a

2 more Covid 19 related deaths were reported in Burke County.  Both individuals were in their 80’s and died of complications.  Currently there are 92 individuals in the hospital in Catawba County, 27 in the hospital in
