Arson Case
A man has been convicted and sentenced in an arson case. Timothy Allen Harmon 34, plead guilty in the case which damaged several apartments in Sawmills. The incident took place in March of 2017. Harmon was sentenced
Cocaine Charge
A Granite Falls man is facing cocaine charges. Timothy Lee Smith 56, was charged with possession of cocaine by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office. Secured bond was set at $10,000.
Morganton Greenway
The City Council of Morganton approved plans for a greenway connector. The project would connect the existing greenway to downtown. Access to the Mountain View Recreation Center would also be along the route. It could be completed
