New Stores in Morganton
2 new businesses are coming to the Morganton Heights shopping center. Panera Bread and Aspen Dental will be located between Applebee’s and Golden Corral. No time frame has been given for an opening date for either business.
Hudson Police Chief
There is a new police chief in Hudson. Lt Richard Blevins 49, will begin his tenure as chief on June 1st. He has been with the Hudson Police Dept for 18 years.

Two people have been charged in connection with a chop shop in Caldwell County. Ryan Eller McRae 41, and Tiffany Anne Brown 39 of Tom Calloway Lane face charges related to stolen vehicles and possession of stolen
