The Southbound Lanes of US 321 were closed in Granite falls for four hours yesterday due to an overturned tractor trailer. The Lenoir News Topic Reports, the truck, driven by Joseph Marshall Collins was carrying scrap metal which was spilled when the truck overturned. Traffic was rerouted through downtown Granite Falls. Collins was charged with exceeding a safe speed.
