According to the Morganton News Herald a truck was ruined after the trailer it was hauling caught fire at the top of Burkemont Mountain Wednesday morning. The driver was on his way to work on roofing at a home when he tells emergency responders he noticed the trailer had caught fire when he made it to the top of the mountain. The truck was completely ablaze when firefighters arrived on scene. No one was injured in the fire.
