A man was killed Friday when a tree fell on his truck. Sidney Reid Albright of China Grove was leaving Green Mountain Park in Lenoir with two passengers around 3 pm when the tree fell due to strong winds from a severe thunderstorm. According to the Lenoir News Topic Albright was pronounced dead at the scene but the other two individuals were transported to Caldwell Memorial Hospital with minor injuries
