Two men were rescued from the roof of a home on Virginia Street in Lenoir yesterday. The Lenoir Fire Department rescued the two men after a fire started on the main level of the two story home. The News Topic reports one man was checked by emergency services but not taken to the hospital. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
