A woman was charged in connection with the robbery of a convenience store and kidnapping of a store clerk early yesterday morning. The Daily Record reports Taya Shaquae McCathern went into the Cubbard Express on 16th Street NE armed with a handgun and told the clerk to give her money. McCathern then forced the clerk to drive her away in his car. The clerk was ultimately let go without injury.
